NorthHenanMedical University，Xinxiang，HenanProvince，453ooo China [Abstract] In the new era，with therapid development of digital andartificial inteligence has made theempowerment of physicaleducation inuniversitieswithartificialintellgencehasbecomeahottopicinthereformofuniversityphysical education.This articlestudies thevalue，problems，andcountermeasures ofempowering physical educationinuniversities withartificial intellgence.Theresearchresults indicate thatartificial inteligencehas multiplevalues inuniversities physical education，such as innovative teaching models，improving teaching effctiveness，and expanding educational resources. At the same time，research has found that the problems of empowering university physical education with artificialintelligencearethelackofdeepintegrationbetweeartificialintelligence technologyandphysicaleducation teaching，insuicientdatasecurityand privacyprotection，andalack of teacher guarantee.Basedonthis，thisarticle proposes measures to strengthen the integration of technology and teaching，atach importance to data security protection，and enhance the digital technologytraining of teachers，aiming to promote the intelligent transformation of physical education in universities and promote the high-qualitydevelopmentof physical education inuniversities.
