Exploring Pathways for Integrating Southwest Guangxi's Red Culture into Primary School Chinese Language Curriculum Ideological and Political Education

Abstract:TheredculturalresourcesofSouthwestGuangxiserveasinvaluabletestimonies toChina'srevolutionaryhistoryand provideavibrant textbook fornurturingidealsandbeliefswhileshaping newgenerationsfortheera.Theireducationalvaluealigns withthecoreprincipleof"cultivatingvirtuendfosteringtalentincuriculum-basedideologicalandpoliticaleucation.refore addressingcurrentchallengesinintegrating Southwest Guangxi's red culture into local primary school Chinese language curriculum-based ideological and political education—such as fragmentedresourcerecognition,superficial explorationandadaptation,homogenized educational models,and weak educational platforms-—this study focuseson the objectives of curriculumbasedideological and political education in the newera. Itproposes the following pathways: unearth the region's red resources to strengthen value guidance, innovate pedagogical models for red-themed language education,and expandred-themed learningenvironments to achieve seamless immersion. These strategiesaim to provide theoretical references and practical examples foradvancing primary school Chinese language curriculumbasedideological and political education and perpetuating the legacyof red culture in the new era.
