Abstract：ThelongpoemTheWasteLandcreatedbytheBritishpoetT.S.Eliotemploysintricateimagerytocarryprofoundideologicalcontentanddelicateimplicitemotions.Thischaracteristichighlightstheimportanceofstudyingthefuzinessoflanguage. Onlybyunderstandingthiscanwebeterconductresearchoninformationtransmisionintranslation.Thisarticlefirstanalyzesthe rotsofzinessoflanguageinPartOne，iglightingitsucialoleinliteraryreatnandtranslationndfurthrexposther lationshipbetweenfuzinessoflanguageandtranslation.PartTwoexamines translationfromaninformatioalperspective，tracigthe processfinformatiotransmissionanddemonstratingthepositiveimpactofstudyingtranslationthroughaninformationalensonenhancing transltionefecivenessPartThreepresentscasestudesbyanalyzingseveralexamplesoffuzzy expressointraslatiosof TheWasteLand，compainghowdiferenttranslations transmitiformationandtherebyconfirmingtesignificanceofthefuisof language in translation studies.
