Abstract：Language landscapeisoneof thehotresearch topics inthefieldofsociology.Scholars pointoutthatlanguagelandscapeis"thelanguagevisibleandprominentonpublicorcommercialsignsinateritoryorregion"or"thetextappearingordisplayedinconstantlychangingpublicspaces".Themost imporantfunctionoflnguagelandscapeisinformationfunction，whichpro vides peoplewithiformationreatestheposibilityofcomuicationbetweensignsandreaders，andestablishesatwowayinterac tiverelationshipwiththeirsocialenvironment.Asanexternalmanifestationofurbanculture，urbanlanguagelandscapeisof greatsignificanceinenhancing thesoft powerofurbancultureand promotingthedevelopmentof theculturaltourismindustry.Inthecontext of buildinganoutstandingglobalcitythisarticledrawsonpreviousresearchexperienceinlanguagelandscape，conductsanonite investigationofthurrentsiatiooflngagelansapeinDalianndpropossouteresursndsgesiosfortetuc tion and governance of language landscape in Dalian.
