Double Parodies: A Study on the Narrative Strategies of Korean Directors of the 386 Generation

Abstract: Korean 386 generation directorsareageneration that grew upduringthe democratization processTheir worksare centeredndeconstructingandreconstructingtraditional narativeconventions toformauniqueParodystyle.Thispaperfocuseson thenaativesaegsoft8easingGee'sssicatologsosdigtoloinngiteetiol originsandcomparingthemtoLinda Hutcheon'spoeticsofposmodeism,toexplorethexpresionofpostmoderityintheirfil narratives.Thesudfocusesonthegroup'suseofinnovationsinnarativefotoquestionthetruthofhistoryparodyof gesand self-referentiaityofnarrtiveechansms,revealingtheniquepathndfrutfulachievementsofthe86generationdiretors vativenarrativemetods.Tisresearchhasshownthattheiovationofnarativemethodsof386enerationdirectorsisssetialy thelocalizationofpostmoderityinanon-Westecontext:theirnarativestrategyistheresultoftecombinedfectofhstorical, politicalandculturalcontexts.hisnarrtiveinnovationnotonlyreshapestheastheticparadigmofKoreanfimnarrtive,butalso provides new ideas for the study of generations in other cultures.
