The Application Value of Liver Ultrasound Elastography Combined with Hepatic Artery Color Ultrasound inBiliary Atresia/YULimei,PENG Xiaowei,ZHUHuazhen,WULi,HURong.//Medical Innovation ofChina,2025,22(29):162-165

[Abstract]Objective: To explore the application value of liver ultrasound elastography combined with hepatic arterycolorultrasound inbiliaryatresia (BA).Method:Atotalof 1O2childrenwith suspected BAadmitted to fromJune2022 to June 2024 were selectedandallunderwent liver ultrasound elastographyand hepatic artery color ultrasound examination.The surgical results were used as the "gold standard",the diagnostic efficacy of liver ultrasound elastographycombined with hepatic artery color ultrasound for BA was analyzed,and the morphological characteristics of liver ultrasound elastographyand hepatic artery color ultrasound in BA-positive and BA-negative children were compared.Result: Among the 102 suspected BA children included,2Owereconfirmedcases.Tediagnosticaccuracyrate,sensitivity,specificity,positivepredictive value,and negative predictive valueofliver ultrasound elastographycombined with hepaticarteryultrasound forBA were 90.20% 90.00% 90.24% 69.23% ,and 97.37% ,respectively. The detection rates of gallbladder malformation, hepatic portal TC sign,and abnormal galbladder contraction function in the positive group were 80.00% , 85.00% , and 60.00% respectively,which were higher than 25.61% , 10.98% and 17.07% in negative group ( P <0.05). Thehepatic artery diameter,maximum hepatic artery flow velocity,and liver stiffessmeasurement (LSM) in positive group were higher than those in negative group ( (P<0.05) . There was no statistically significant difference in the inner diameterof the portal vein,the maximumvelocityof the portal veinandtheresistance index (RI)betweenthe two groups P>0.05 ).Conclusion: The combination of liver ultrasound elastography and hepatic artery color ultrasound has a high diagnostic accuracy for BA and can be used as an effective imaging tool for diagnosis of BA.
