[Abstract]Objective： To investigate the efficacy of platelet-rich plasma （PRP） combined with TCM Tazi in kneeosteoarthritisand itsinfluenceon bone metabolism indicators.Method：AtotalofOO patients with knee osteoarthritis admitted to ional Chinese Medicine Hospital from January 2O22 to December 2023 were divided into the control group （ n= 50，treated with PRP） and the observation group （ n =50，treated withPRP combined with TCM Tazi） according to the random number table method.The total effective rate of treatment， disease conditions[Western Ontarioand McMaster Universities osteoarthritis index （WOMAC） score]，knee joint function[knee injury and osteoarthritis outcome score （KOOS）]，and bone metabolism indicators in joint fluid [cartilage oligomer matrix protein （COMP），osteoprotegerin （OPG），and bone glaprotein （BGP）] before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Result： The total efective rate of treatment inthe observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group （ P <0.05）.Before treatment， there were no statistically significant diferences inthe WOMAC scores，each dimension score of KOOS and bone metabolism indicators in joint fluid between the two groups （ P >0.05）.After treatment， the WOMAC scores and COMP，OPG of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group，the each dimension score of KOOS and BGP were significantly higher than those of the control group，and the WOMAC scores and COMP，OPG of both groups were significantly lower than those before treatment，and the each dimensionscore of KOOS and BGP were significantly higher than those before treatment （ P <0.05）.Conclusion： The efficacy ofPRP combined with TCM Tazi inthe knee osteoarthritis is better，which can significantly improve knee joint function and the expresson of bone metabolism indicators in joint fluid.
