Influence of Dexmedetomidine Pretreatment on Hemodynamics during the Induction Period of General Anesthesia inPatients Undergoing Gynecological Surgery/ZHANGMeixiu,WANGJinghua,QIU Lin.//Medical Innovation of China,2025,22(24):150-154

[Abstract] Objective: To explore the effect of Dexmedetomidine pretreatment on hemodynamics during the induction period of general anesthesia in patients undergoing gynecological surgery. Method: A total of 100 gynecological surgery patients who underwent general anesthesia inFuzhou Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2O23 to August 2O24 were selected and divided into the observation group ( n= 53)and the control group ( n =47)by the random number table method.Before anesthesia induction,Dexmedetomidine at a dose of was continuously pumped intravenously into the observation group,while the control group was given the same dose of 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection. The anesthesia effects,hemodynamic indicators (mean arterial pressre,heart rate,and electroencephalogram dual-frequency index) before anesthesia induction (Ti), before intubation (T2),immediately after intubation (T3),and1 minute( Γ4) ,3minutes (T 5) ,and5 minutes (T6)after intubation were compared betweenthe two groups.Result: There were no significant diferences inanesthesia onsetor recovery times between the two groups ( P >0.05).The mean arterial pressure in the observation group at I3 and Γ4 were significantly lower than those in the control group ( P <0.05). Heart rate at Γ3 and T4 were also significantly lower in the observation group compared to the control group ( P <0.05). The bispectral index values in the observation group at T1, T4 and T5 were significantly reduced compared to those in the control group ( P <0.05).Conclusion:Dexmedetomidine pretreatment efectively stabilizes hemodynamic indicators during anesthesia induction for gynecological surgery, significantly reducing fluctuations in mean arterial pressure and heart rate following intubation and maintaining a stable bispectral index.
