[Abstract] Objective: To explore the effect of intermittent oral tube feeding combined with oral sensory training indysphagia after stroke.Method: Atotalof7Opatients withdysphagiaafter stroke admitted to Mianyang Central Hospital from May 2O21 to April 2O24 were divided into sensory group ( n =35) and intermittent group ( n 35)according to the random number table method.The sensory group was given oral sensory training,and the intermittent group was givenoralsensory training combined with intermitent oral tubefeeding.Thenutritional level, swallowing function,swallowing surface electromyography (sEMG) indexes,qualityof lifeand adverse events ofthe two groups were compared. Result: The albumin [(39.75±3.18)g/L] and total protein [(69.75 ± 3.94) g/L] in the intermittent group after intervention were higher than those in the sensory group [(37.63±2.49) , (67.29 ± 3.87) g/L] ( P <0.05).The scoresof the functional oral intake scale [(5.26±0.41) points] and the modified Mann assessment of swallowing ability[ (73.85±3.84 points] in the intermittent group after intervention were higher than those in the sensory group (4.65±0.50) ,( 57.20±3.56 points]( P <0.05). The swallowing duration[ (1.20±0.13) s] in the intermittent group after intervention wasshorter than that in the sensory groupl (1.28±0.19) s],and the maximum amplitude of electromyography[ (56.83±7.97 ) μ V] was greater than that in the sensory group[ (52.40±7.38 ) μV] ( P <0.05). The score of the swallowing quality of life (64.36±2.53 points] in the intermittent group after intervention was larger than that in the control group [(62.63±3.96) points] ( P <0.05).There wasno significant difference in the incidence of adverse events ( 8.57% Vs 11.43% )between the two groups( P>0.05 ).Conclusion:Intermittent oral tube feeding combined with oral sensory training can enhance the swallowing muscle strength of patients with dysphagia after stroke,improvetheirqualityof ifeandnutritionallevel,andwillnotincreasetheoccurrenceofadverseevents.
