Strategies for Preventing Psychological Crisis in College and University Students from the Perspective of Family of Origin

Abstract：Inrecentyears，therisingtrendofpsychologicalproblemsamongcollegeanduniversitystudentshasdrawnwidespread atentionfromtheeducationsectorandsocietyatlarge.Probingdeeperintotherotcauses，thispaperfndsthatanunhealthyfamilyof originofenliesbeindthesestudentswithpsycholgicalproblems.Drawingonalcasesfromcolegeanduniversitycounselors’sudent affirswork，thispaperfocusesoncollegeanduniversitystudentswithpsychologicalproblemsrootedintheirfamilyoforigin.A comparativeanalysisofthesestudents’outcomesmakesforfourstrategyforprevention：（1）regularandiregularscreningsfor psycholgicalprobs；（2）fostigasielasseiontoltiatesuppotivepelatioips;（3）plemenigolaf educationwithafour-tierfacultystudentteam;（4）creatingafamily-schol-communitylinkagetojointlyaddressthestudents psychological problems.Addressing this problem requires the active involvement of one's family of origin.
