Research on the Development of Core Competencies of Vocational College Students Based on Structural Equation Modeling

AbstractThis study aims to explore the influencing factors and improvement paths of the development of core literacy of higher vocational Chinese students. Through a combination of questionnaire surveys and interviews, the effects offactors such as student participation,curriculum design, teachers'capabilities,evaluation mechanisms,and leaming resources on the development of students'core literacy are analyzed.The research results show that student participation,curiculumdesign,andteachers'capabilities are thekey factors for improving students'core literacy,and there are interactive efects among these factors. On this basis,this paper puts forward specific suggestions such as optimizing curriculum design,improving teachers'capabilities,perfecting learning resources,stimulating student participation,and improving the evaluation mechanism,in order toprovidetheoretical basis and practical guidance for the Chinese education reform in higher vocational colleges.
