Abstract：Toestablish Chinaasamaritimepower，the developmentof themarineeconomyandtheprotectionof themarine ecologicalenvironmentarebothcloselytiedtothetrainingofskilledpersonnel，whichrequiressubstantialhumanresources support.Specificallthereisanurgentneedfortop-tierinnovativetalentscapableofpartcipatinginintemationalmarine governanceandadvancingkeytechnologiesinthemarinesector.Inthiscontext，theSouthamptonOceanEngineeringJoint Institute，acollaborationbetweenHarbinEngineeringUniversityandtheUniversityofSouthampton（ereinafterreferrdtoasthe "JEI"）.This paperusesthecourse "SystemsDesignandComputingfor Ships"oferedbytheJEIasacasestudytoexplorehow todevelopateachingmodelforinternationalcooperationundertheframeworkofnewengineeringeducation，withtheaimof providing valuable insights for Sino-foreign educational collaborations at higher institutions.
