[Abstract] Basedon therapid development of today's society,the demand of road and bridge enterprises for highly skilledandhigh-qualitytalents isalsoconstantlyincreasing.Currently,thereisasignificant gapbetweentheprofesional physical fitnessof graduates majoring in road and bridge engineering and the demand of enterprise positions.This paper takesthevocational physicalftness needsofthestudents intheroadandbridge majorgroupofhigher vocationalcoleges as the starting point,takes thecurrent situationofthe vocational physicalfitnessoftheexisting students as the starting point,basedon the principles thatshould be folowed intraining.Itproposes strategiesto improve the vocational physical fitnessof students in the vocational road and bridge major group by improving the level of teaching staff, optimizing teaching content and objectives,adjusting teaching methods and means,enriching teaching resources and changing evaluation methods. It provides new support forthe future talent cultivation mode of the road and bridge major group in higher vocational coleges and also finds a new starting point for physical education teaching.
