[Abstract] In the context of a strong sports nation，table tennis teaching and training are confronting significant challengesthat，ifunaddressd，coulddirectlyectthesustainabledevelopmentoftableennisandtheehancement ofinternationalcompetitivenessin China.This paper firstly points outfour major problems inthe current table tennis teachingand training，including lagging trainingconceptsand methods，uneven professional levelof thecoaching team， unequal distribution of training facilities and resources，and imperfect mechanism ofathlete selectionand training.To address tese problems，this paper proposes strategies such as innovating training concepts and methods，improving the professional levelofcoaching teams，optimizingthedistributionof training facilitiesand resources，and perfecting the mechanism ofathlete selectionandcultivation，inorder tocomprehensively improve theoveralleveloftable tenis in China.
