Abstract： The construction of new rural areas requires a dual wheel drive of informatization and digitization. The former can narow the information gap between urban and rural areas，lay the foundation forrural modernization， while the later can promote industrial upgrading， help farmers increase income，and accelerate the process of rural revitalization.Rural electronic informatization iscloselyrelated tothe digital economy，and acollborative development mechanism needs tobe established.This article provides anoverviewof its concept，analyzes the existing development gaps，and explores collaborative development strategies aimed at promoting rural modernization and achieving comprehensive rural revitalization.
