Abstract： With the rapid development of information technology and Internet of Things （IoT） technology， automation technologyand intelligent monitoring methods areprofoundlychanging the operation mode of the power system.The intelligenceof the powersystem notonlyimproves energyutilizationeficiency，but alsoenhances the safety and reliability of the power grid.Intellgence enables the power system to have more precise monitoring and control capabilities， enabling real-time response and beter adaptation to various complex operating environments. Therefore，this article explores the application and development prospectsof intelligent monitoring technology for electrical engineering automation in power systems，aiming to assist enterprise development and improve economic and social benefits.
