Abstract： With the developmentof the times，digital technology has gradually penetrated into various fields，and education in higher vocational collges and universities has also ushered innewopportunities for development.The article discusses how digital technology can bring innovative changes to teaching practice and make personalized teaching possble from the aspects of Artificial Inteligence （AI）， Virtual Reality（VR），Augmented Reality （AR）and Internet of Things （IOT）.The use of digital technology in higher vocational coleges and universitiescannot only effectively solvethe problemofthelackof teaching resources intraditionalvocational education，butalsobetterhelp students to improve theirpracticalabilityand inovative thinking ability，and promote theoverallimprovementof students' professionalism.
