Abstract：Digital technologies with the Internet of Things （IoT）technology as the core are infiltrating the insurance industry.This paper analyzes the practical significanceof theapplicationofIoT technology in insurance risk prevention，explores its application scenarios，implementation paths，and development prospects in insurance businessareas such as auto insurance，health insurance，and property insurance，providing a reference for the digital transformation of the insurance industry.
