Abstract：Atpresent，inthedesignofandicraftshandicraftsnolongerexistonlyaspracticalobjectsorordinaryecoations and people pay moreand more atention totheir value.However，inthe actual design，asanimportant design element that directlyaffectsthevisualprceptionofhandicrafts，coloroftendoesnotmatchthecorethemeofhandicrafts，failstoeffectively highlightthetextureoftematerialitself，orfailstofullycosidertheaesteticeedsof thetargetaudience，whichmakesthe role ofcolorinimprovingthe valueofhandicrafts not playwell.Basedonthis situation，theresearch firstanalyzestheroleof colorapplicationinpromotingthevalueofhandicrafts，andthendiscuses thestrategiesofoptimzingtheuseofcolortoenhance thevalueofandicrafts，inordertoprovidepracticalreferenceforthepersonelengagedinhandicraftsdesigntocarryoutcolor design.
