Abstract： Under the backgroundoftheruralrevitalization strategy，rurallandscapedesignhas bcome thecorecarrierfor enhancingtheecologicalqualityculturalconotationandsenseofappinessinurallife.Plants，asthecoreconstituenteleents ofruralandscapes，teirolorndmorphologicalcharacteristicsdectlyectthevisualect，ologicalfunctioadgioal recognition of the landscape.Based on this，this paper systematically explores the emotional expresionand matching rules of plant colors，as wellasthespatialshaping functionof plant forms.Combining the principlesof plantcolorsand forms inrural landscape design，taking Dayuwan Vilage inWuhan，Hubei Provinceasanexample，itproposesaplant aplicationstrategythat meetsthedesignrequirementsofdiferentruralscenariosandconformsto"ecologicaladaptation-culturalresponse-functional coordination".Toacheveteityf"naturalne，practicalityandclturalature"inurallandscapes，ndprovidetetical references and practical paths for the upgrading of rural landscapes.
