Ink-Inspired Color Design StrategiesforFashion-Oriented Intangible Cultural Heritage Districts:A Case Studyof

Abstract: Under the backdropofculturaland tourism integration and therevitalization of intangible cultural heritage, fashionitangibleculturalheritagedistricts havegraduallyemergedassignificantspatialforms wheretraditionalcultuefinds contemporary expresionand intersects with youth consumer culture.However,incurrentrenovation practices,such districts commonly faceisues where color design tends tobesymbolicand superficial,making it difficult to effectively traslate thecultural connotations of intangibleheritage through spatial visual systems.Taking the historical districtof Qinghefang in Hangzhouas acase study,this paper systematicall examines theexistingcolor structure,intangiblecultural imagery, andcharacteristicsof ink washelementsinthedistrict through literaturereview,fieldresearch,andcase analysis,aiming to constructacolordesignstrategyapplicabletofashionintangibleculturalheritagedistricts.Thestudysuggests thatcolordesign integrating abstract ink wash elementscan enhance theoverallcoherenceandlayered senseofspatial imagery insuch districts whileavoidingthedirectimitationof taditionalsymbols.Tisappoacheffectivelydepens theperceptionofintangiblecultural heritageandensuresaestheticcontinuityprovidingatheoreticallygroundedandpracticallsignificantreferenceforthedesign renewal and cultural expression of fashion intangible cultural heritage districts.
