Abstract: As an important medium forcultural enlightenment,children's picture books showcase tremendous potential in conveying Chinese traditionalculture throughtheirvividcombinationof textandilustrationsandtheiruniqueartistic expression Elementsof traditionalculture,suchasfestival customs,folk tales,andtraditionalartsandcrafts,areoftenvividlydepicted inpicturebooksthroughtheuseofrichcolors.Color,asacoreelementofartisticexpressionandacrucialcarrierofcultural meaning,embodies symbolicsignificance thatcanintuitivelyconveytheemotionsandvaluesof traditionalculturetochildren. This study explores ways tointegrate traditionalculturalelements inpicture books withcolorteaching,designingeducational strategiestailoredtochildren.Byguidingchildren tounderstandculturalcomotations whileperceivingcolors,thestudyaims to fosterculturalidentityand aestheticcreativity.
