Abstract：Su Baijun's "Primordial Myriad Spirits Scroll" was created in2020，duringthe initialoutbreak oftheCOVID-19 pandemic.Theartist eitherdirectlydepictedcontemporaryphenomenaof thepandemicoremployed specificpaintinglanguages to expresstheemotionsandtoughtstriggeredbythepandemic.Sizingthismoment，SuBaijunnrichedbyhisexprience， thoughts，andculturalfoundations，reatedaworktatembodies tranqulityastns，andanaturalhthmimbuedithase oforder：the"PrimordialMyriadSpiritsScroll."Theartistliberallyappledshadesofbue，green，ochreandyellowtodepicta primordialworld，whileusinginktosketchandtexturethecreatureswithin.Thegrandeurofsplashedinkandcolorcombedwith therusticandgedtexturesofthebshorkcosructsaamoosseneeredscapesforaandfuncoeistsate anartisticconceptionthatefectstheplosopicalideaof"Heaven，Earth，andIwerebotogether，andallthingsareoewith me".This paperaims toexploretherelationshipbetweencolorandtheconstructionofartisticconceptioninthe"PrimordialMyriad Spirits Scroll"， thereby revealing the contemporary expression of mythical creature-themed paintings.
