Abstract： In the practiceof high schoolartteaching，teachers actively explore the analysis of modern painting colour expressions topromotecomprehensive innovationinteaching activities，whichcan trigger students'in-depth understanding of modern painting colour expresions，and promote theenhancementof students'aesthetic literacyandartisticcreativity.In this paper，starting fromhigh schoolart teaching，modernpaintingcolour expresion forms inartteachingareanalysedand suggestions forrationalising artteachingareput forward，aiming toimprovethequalityofart teaching andsystematically cultivate students' core art qualities.
