Abstract： Colorisanimportantcomponentofartisticcreation，andonlybyusingcolorcan it enhance visualappeal.Chinese traditionalanimation workshaveprofoundconnotations，andtheuseofcolorsisalsoinfluencedbytraditionalphilosophical ideas，with distinct nationalcharacteristicsandideologicalconnotations.Theuseofcolors is mainlybasedon"fivecolors"， combined with somesolidcolors，which haveagood decorativeefectontheanimation.Andcolorcan also beused to depict thepersonaiesofanimatedcharacters，render theatmosphereofthepicture，andsignificantlyenance theoverallcharmof the work.Below，wewillconductin-depthresearchontheuseofcolorin traditionalanimationdesigntoensurethatcolorcanbetter serve animation and enhance the effectiveness of traditional animation design.
