Abstract：Inthelong social development，the Miaocostumes in western Hunanhave formed theirownuniquecoloraesthetic consciousnes，whichdependsonthecoloroftheclothingitselfandrichanddiverse decorativepatterns.Thecolorsymbolic characteristicsoftheMiaocostumsaremoreprominent，whichoftencarrythestoryculture，eliefandmanyotheriforation of the Miaocostumes.In Hunan Museum in XiangxiMiaocostumes asreference，theMiaodailylifeofthecolorspecies，color collcatio，loeioetatitadstif and symbolic significance，to make adeeper understanding ofthe Miaoculture and the diversity ofnationalculture.
