Application of MR Technology Combined with Virtual Simulation Practice Platform in Midwifery Teaching

Taking theFour-step Palpation Method Teachingas an Example

AbstractObjective:Toexplorethe effectivenessofmixedreality(MR)technologycombinedwith virtualsimulation training platformin the teaching offoursteppalpation method in midwifery.Method:Atotalof104 students from two clasesof the2023 midwiferymajorat Bijie Medical College fromAugust toDecember 2024 were selected as the research subjects and divided intoan experimental group(51 students)and acontrol group (53 students).The experimental group used MR technology combined withvirtual simulation training platform for teaching,while the control groupcontinued touse traditional teaching methods.The training results and satisfaction survey ofthe two groups were compared.Result: The practical training scores ofthe experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05) ;The satisfaction level of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05) .Conclusion:The combination of MR technology and virtual simulation training platform hasagood teaching effectin thefour step palpationmethodof midwifery,and has improved the teaching quality of midwifery training.
