Teaching Methods of Higher Vocational English under Learning Differences of Mixed Student Sources

AbstractThe diversified development trend of student sources in higher vocational colleges has put forward new requirements for English teaching.Students from different admission channels have certain differences in language foundation,cognitive abilityand leaming motivation,which directlyafecttheclassroom teaching effectand talent training quality.This paper systematically analyzes the maindiffculties faced byhigher Vocational English teaching under the background of mixed student sources,deeply discusss the implementation principles of diffrentiated teaching,and puts forward operable teaching strategies from multiple dimensions such as teaching organization, clasroom managementand technicalapplication.Inthe environment ofmixed student sources,teachers need to change traditional teaching concepts, innovate teaching methods,construct a diversified evaluation system,and efectively improve teaching quality and promote educational equity.
