AbstractThe purpose of teacher trainees serving rural education is to cultivate teacher trainees with rural education sentiment，professional competence，and teachingskills through policyguidance and institutional design，inorder to meet the needs of rural education， promote educational equity and improve the quality of rural education，and achieve sustainabledevelopmentofruraleducation.Thearticle takes JilinNormal Universityasanexample to explore indepth the construction path，practical effectiveness，and improvement direction of the teaching mode of normal students serving rural education，in order to achieve the goal ofcultivating high-quality rural teachers and improving the level of rural education，and to help promote ruralrevitalization and balanced development of urban and rural education.
