AbstractThearticlefrstelaborates onthebasicconcepts ofpositive psychology,and thenexplores its motivationalrole in ideologicaland politicaleducation inuniversities, withafocus onanalyzinghow to motivate students by strengthening their intrinsic motivation,enhancingself-eficacy,and improvingpositive emotions.Atthesametime,thearticlealso proposes specific applications of positive psychology in practice,including the cultivation and motivation of psychological capital,thedesignofpositiveideologicaland politicaleducation activities,theconstructionofclassroom interactions based on positive incentives,the use of positive psychologyprinciples to establish clubs,and atention to students'emotional and psychological needs.Through the implementationof these strategies,positive psychologycan provide a new perspective and practical path for ideological and political education in universities.
