Abstract:Inordertoefectivelypreventthequalityproblemsexisting intheexcavationandprotectionconstructionofhigh slopes inhighwayengineringatthisstage,thispaperanalyzescases basedonresearchbasedonahighwayprojectinacertain areainnorthwestChina.Bydetailingthekeyanddificultsituationsofhighslopeexcavationandprotectioninthecaseproject, theon-siteconstruction techniquesaresummarized,including slopeexcavationmethods,blasting techniques，ativeprotectivenet constructionmethods，etc.Thepracticalexperienceofcasehighwayengineringprojectsshowsthattheabove-mentionedhigh slopeexcavationandprotectionconstructiontechnologieshavegoodoperabilityandcanefectivelyreducequalityproblemsin slope engineering,which isworth learning from and reference for similar projects.
