Abstract:Inthemodern productionsystemof thetobaccoindustry,the YB618packaging machineservesasthecore equipmentinthecigaretepackagingproce,withtheoperatingstatusofitstransverseconveyingchanneldirectlyrelatedtothe releaseofproductionlinecapacityandthestabilityofproductquality.Cuently,theoriginalsupportingdeviceforthetrasverse conveying of cigarettes made of single 45# steel,with unreasonable structural design and lack of an effective lubrication mechanism, hasexposedproblemssuchaspoorwearresistanceandinsuficientstructuralstabilityunderhigh-frequencyworkingconditions, leadingtoachainreactionofconveyingstaling,appearancedamage,andhighmaintenancecosts.Toaddress thisproductionpain point,thispaperconductsanintegratedoptimisationdesignstudyfocusingonthesupportingdevicethrough'materials structure -surface treatment' By upgrading the rawmaterial from 45# steel to high -strength metal matrix composite, reconstructingthecurvatureofthesupportingsurfaceandguidingstructure,andaddingaself-lubricatingcoatingof polytrafluoroethylene(FE),aomprehensiveehancementofthesupportingdevice'speformanceisachieved.Verification through 6Odaysofon-sitecomparative testingshows thattenewsuportingdevicereduces thestalingrateofcigareteconveying by 88.5% ,extendstheservice lifeofindividualcomponents threefold,increases themaintenancecycle from15 days to 6O days, decreases the average monthly maintenance cost by 88.7% ,and reduces the appearance damage rate of cigarettes by 93.2% . This optimisationschemenotonlysignificantlyimprovestheoperationalstabilityandproductionefciencyoftheYB618packaging machine,butalsoprovidesaeplicableandpromotablepracticalsolutionforthelocalisationimprovementandpeformancepgrade ofkeycomponents in tobaco packaging equipment,possessing high engineering aplication valueandeconomicbenefits.
