Abstract：Withtheimplementationof theYellow RiverProtectionLawandthepromulgationofnewstandardsforwater intakemeasurement，thetraditionalflowmeasurement methodsusedintheYellwRiverDiversion Sluicecannolongermeetthe needsofmodernflowmeasurement.Therefore，itisparticularlyimportanttooptimizetheonlinemeteringofwaterintakefromthe YellowRiverDiversionSluice.ThispaperfirstdescribesthecharacteristicsofwaterintakefromtheYellowRiverDiversion Sluice，andcombinesthelatesttechnicalrequirementsforwaterintakemeteringatthecurrentstage，anddeeplyanalyzes the applicationofthecurrentflowmeasurementscheme.Finally，countermeasuresandsuggestionsareputforwardforonlinemetering ofwaterintakefromYelowRiverDiversionSluice，inordertoprovideusefulreferencefortheoptimizationofonlinemeteringof water intake from Yellow River Diversion Sluice.
