Abstract:AfectedbyheavyrainfallintheShanshanareainlateSeptember2O21,alargenumberofsubgradediseases occurredonaheavy-haulrailwayThemaintypesaresixcategories:landslide,slopecollapse,subgradesetlement,tunel entranceandexitslopediseases,bridgeconeslopecolapseanddrainagesystemdamage.Statisticalanalysisshowsthatsubgrade settlement diseases account for about 23% ,and most occur in five different geological sections:high fill sections,bridge and culverts transition sections,excavation sections,semi-filled and half-dug sections,and stations.About 47% of settlement points ocurinthe transitionsectionofbridgesandculverts,whichisthesectionwith the mostsetlement diseases.About 33.4% of thesetlementpointsocuredinsem-filedsemiexcavatedandhighilledsectios,whichisthesectionwherestleet diseasesoccurmore.Subgradesinkswerefoundinallthreeexcavationsections,whicharetherotcauseofsugradeselement. Duetothelarge watercatchmentarea,poordrainage,andthestationbeingbuiltinthefillngarea,subgradeselementdiseases occurredinnarlyhalfofthestationarea.Basedonthefactthattheskylightpointtimeonthisheavy-haulrailwayisshorter than4hours,itisproposed touse oblique hole radial grouting to control setlement,anditissuccessful.
