Abstract:TheresearchprogressonthebiologicalactivitiesandmechansmsofactionofcucurbitacinB(CucB)wasreviewed.Studies showedthatCucB posesed significantantitumor efects.It was found toregulatemultiplesignaling pathways,including JAK2/ STAT3,PI3K/A,APK/RK,ndopois,hrebyectivelybiingteroliferation,igaiondivasionfriou tumorcells(suchastosefromliver,lung,breast,ndgastrontestialcancers)andinducingcellcyclerest,apoptosis,andutophagy.Intersofanti-flammatoryeects,CucBcouldinibittheactivatiooftheNRP3inflammasomeanddoweglatekey pathwayslikeNF-eB,thusallvitingtissedamageinultipleinflammatorymodels.Furthermore,ucBemonstratedhpatorotetiveactityandassowntoameliorateliverfrosisthoughmodulatingoxidativestress,uppressinginflmmatoryesponss,and regulatingaxessuchasSIRT/IGFBPrP1/TGF-a1.Itspotentialinallviatingpsoriasiswasalsosupportedbyresearch,withmechanismsinvolvingtheinhibitionofpathwayssuchascGAS-STNGandJAK-STAT.OtherefectsofCucB,includingitsroleigulatingautophagyuppressinglukeiaandteosrcoaroteingsuladothelundbiigottialurotoiiyee also summarized.
