Effects of wheat rotation on soil metabolites in continuous cropping greenhouses of watermelon

Abstract:Theefectsofwheatrotationonthespeciesandabundanceofsoilmetabolitesincontinuouscroppinggreenhouseofwater melo(Ctrulluslanatus)wereinvestigatedbywide-targetedliquidchromatographymassspectrometry.Theresultsindicatedthat thereweresignificantdiferencesinboththecompositionandabundanceofmetabolitesbetweenthewinterfallwsoil(CK)andthe wheat-rotatedsoil(WT).Atotalof1405metabolitesweredetectedinthetwosoilgroups,whichweremainlyconcentratedinlipid andlipid-like molecules,organicacidsandtheirderivatives,organic heterocycliccompounds,benzenederivatives,etc.Atotalof 228dierentialmetaboliteswereidentified,inluding41up-regulatedmetabolitesand187down-regulatedmetabolites.Compared withthe CK,theabundanceofcompoundsasociatedwithanti-pathogenic microorganisminthe WTgroupwassignificantlyhighe, suchasoridin,reticulinylum,andsilagenin.Conversely,theabundanceofcompoundslinkedtocontinuouscroppingobtacles, suchasindoxylslate,spenol,heniccidand9,poxyseariccid,asmarkedlydued.KEGGeichmetlyis vealedthatthepathwayofcutin,suberin,andwaxbiosynthesiswassignificantlyenrichedItcouldbeseenthatwheatrotationcould improve the types and abundance of metabolites in watermelon continuous cropping greenhouse soil.
