Coupling effect of planting density and fertilization method on potato yield formation and economicbenefits

Abstract:Sixpotato(SolanumtuberosumL)varieties,ncludingFeiwuruitaGoyuanN.2,GaoyuanNo.8QngshuNo9oigial seed,Heimeiren(purplepotato)andWuyangyu,ereusedasexperimentalmaterials,ndself-reservedseedsofQingshuNo.9was usedascontrol.Twoplantigdensities,highdensity(57plants/hm2)andlowdensity(4050Oplants/m2),weresetosudtheir efects onpotatoyieldandconomicbenefits.Aditionall,using Wuyangyuasthematerial,sixfertilizationtreatments weresetup with two plantingdensities,andtheefectsoffertlizationandplantingdensityontheyieldofWuyangyuwereanalyzed.Teresults showedthat,exceptforHeimeiren(purplepotato),theper-plantyieldunderlow-densityplantingwassignificantlyhigherthanthat underhigh-densityplanting.Theefectofplantingdensityonyieldperhectarevariedbyvariety.Underhigh-densityplanting,some varietiesexhibitedhigheryieldsperhectarethanunderlow-densityplanting,withQingshu9originalsed,Qingshu9self-reserved seed,andHeimeirenshowinghighlysignificantyieldincreasesunderhighdensityWuyangyuachievedthehighestyieldof37976.12 (204号 kg/hm2 when planted at high density with the application of organic fertilizer + compound fertilizer + 2.5 g/plant potassium sulfate. Amongall varieties,Qingshu9original seed under high-densityplantingachieved the highest yield of 62094.45kg/hm2 .Intermsof economicbenefits,Heimeiren(purplepotato)performedthebest,withnetprofitsof47303.40yuan/hm²and59134.20yuan/hm²under low and high densities,respectively,followed by Wuyangyu.
