Effects of continuous cropping on soil physicochemical properties， nutrients，and heavy metal content of Pinellia ternate soil from Qianjiang

Abstract：Inodertosystematicallevauatethesoilconditionoflong-temcontiuouscropping（forsevenconsecutiveyears）bases ofPineliaternatainQianjiangCity，49soilsampleswereandomlycolectedfromdiffrentculiationgreeousestodeteethe physicochemicalpropertis，nutrientcontents，ndheaymetalconcentrations.Theresultsindicatedthatthesoilwasgenralllkline（average pH7.56），with a moderate organic matter content 17.67g/kg ），and exhibited slight salinization（averageEC 0.76 mS/cm）. Thecontentsoftotalnrogenndtalpotassmweremoderate，iletotalposhous，alkalidrolablenrognvlableho phorus，andavailablepotassium wereallathighlevels.Availablebronwas high；availableiron，copper，andincwere oderate; whileavailablemanganeseandmolybdenumwererelativelylow.Thecontentsoftotalcadmium，chromium，lead，nickel，mercury， and arsenic were allbelow safety thresholds.However，the detected total cadmium in some samples reached 0.3mg/kg ，approaching thrisk imit.Basedonthesefindings，itwasrecommendedthatsubsequentcultivationpracticesadoptedintegratedmeasuressuchas salinitycontroloptimaionoftefertlaonsruture（educngchemialrtilisndincreasingorganicfertiliers）dict regulationofexogenouscadmiuminput，inordertomaintainsoilhealthandguaranteethequalityof Pineliaternata.
