Screening experiment of rice varieties under the shrimp-rice co-cropping model in Qianjiang City

Abstract：Toadvanethehigh-qualitydevelopmentofshrimp-riceindustryinQianjiangCity，Hubei Province，19newrcevarietis independentlybredbytheInstituteofFoodrops，HubeiAcademyofAgriculturalScienceswerecollcted，andasstematicee ingexperimentunderthelocalshrimp-riceco-croppngregime wasconducted.Aftercomprehensiveevaluation，twohigh-yieldand high-qualityshrimpricevarieties，Yangxianyou77andELiangyou230o，werescreenedoutfromthelate-maturingvarieties.Among them，theyieldofYangxianyou77reached 12483.30kg/hm2 ，whichwas 56.54% higher than that of the control Huanghuazhan，and thericequalityreachedthethirdgradeoftheministrystandardunderextremehightemperatureconditions.TheyieldofELiangyou 2300 was 10348.50kg/hm2 ，which was 29.77% higher than that of the control Huanghuazhan，and the rice quality also reached the thirdgradeof theministrystandardunderextremehigh temperatureconditions.Ahigh-yieldandhigh-qualityshimpricevariety Yaliangyou Meixiangxinzhan was screened out from early maturing varieties.The yield was 11056.50kg/hm2 ，which was 38.64% higherthanthatofthecontrolHuanghuazan.Thericequalityreachedthethirdgradofthe ministrystandarduderextremehightemperature conditions.In addition，the yield of E Nongxiang 11S/HD227 was 11060.25kg/hm2 ，which was 38.69% higher than that of Huanghuazhan.
