Study on the spatial distribution characteristics and driving mechanism of “non-grain conversion” of cropland in Karst mountain area: A case study of Qiannan Prefecture

Abstract:Basedon2O13croplanddataand2O23landusedatafrom QiannanPrefecture,thespatialdistributioncharacteristicsof “non-grainconversion”ofcroplandwereanalyzedusing thelanduse transitionmatrix.Acomputationalmodelwasestablishedtoquantifythecroplandnon-grainconversionrate,andthedrivingefectsoffivefactors,includingcroplandslope,quality,distaceto roads,distancetoselements,anddistancetowatersoures,eresysematicallyinvestigated.Tesultssowedtatteoain conversion area of cropland in Qiannan Prefecture from 2013 to 2O23 was I 67210.34hm2 ,and the non-grain conversion rate was (204号 31.89% .The“non-grainconversion”ofcroplandwasdominatedbythetransformationofcroplandtoforestlandandorchards,whichaccounted for 98.52% of the total“non-grain conversion”ofcropland area.The non-grain conversion rate exhibited a significant positive corelationithdecliingrolandqualityncreasingspesteepess,andgeaterdisancstooads,setlements,ndwateou es.Theinfluence weightsof thesefivefactorson“nongrainconversion”ofcroplandwere0.31,0.25,0.19,O.15,andO.10spc tively.Amongthem,theinfluence weightsofnaturalconditionfactors(croplandqualityandslopestepness)on“non-grainconversion”of cropland reached 0.56.
