Comprehensive evaluation and spatial-temporal pattern analysis of agricultural and rural modernization

Abstract:Acomprehensiveevaluationsystemforagriculturalandruralmodernizationasconstructedfromfivedimensions:Polis, economy,society,culture,and ecology.Animproved entropy weight-greycorelation-TOPSIS model wasutilized tocalculate the comprehensivescoresof30provinces(municipalities,autonomousregions)in Chinafrom2013to2O22,andtheirchangingtrends wereanalyzed.Meanhile,exploratoryspatialdataanalysis(ESDA)methodswereemploydtoinvestigatethespatio-temporalevolutioncharacteristicsandregionaldisparitiesinthedevelopmentlevelofagriculturalanduralmodernization.Theresultsshowedthat theoverallevelofmoderagriculturalandruraldevelopmentasonteise.Fromtheperspectiveoftheaveragedevelopmenlevelof each region,the pattern was mainly northeast region > eastern region > central region > western region.After1O years of development, thenumberofprovinces(municipalities,autonomousregions)withhigh,lower,andlowlevelsdecreasedbyoneeachuttheumberof provinces(municipalities,autonomousregions)withhigherlevelsincreasedsignificantly.Teditributionofhighandhigher levelreashiftedfromeing mainlyconcentratedintheeasternandnortheastregionstoeing mainlyconcentratedinthecntralregion.Modernagricultureandruralareas were mainlycharacterizedbylow-low clusteringandhigh-highclustering inspace.As ime passed,the areas of low-low clustering gradually decreased.
