A Brief Discussion on the Similarities and Differences of Tenses in Chinese and Uygur Languages

Abstract：ChineseandUyghuraretwo languagesbelongingtodiferentlanguage families，andtheirpronunciation，writingand grammararegreatlydiferent.Intesofgrammaticalrelations，ChineseandUyghurtenseadoptcompletelydiferentways.Trough thestudyof Chinese Uyghur tenses，this paper findsandsummarizesthediferencesandsimilaritiesbetween ChineseandUyghur tensesinuse.Chinesetenseexpressionisrelativelyimplicit，thelackofaclearsignoftense，through lexicalmeansandcontext to makeupforthelackofmorphologicalchanges;theUyghurlanguage，ontheotherhand，ismoreclearanddetailedintheepsion of tense，whichis mainly expressedthroughtheform changeof verbs.Thispaper makes an in-depth comparativestudyof tense betweenChineseand Uyghur，inordertohelpbilinguallearners grasptheessnceof thetwolanguagesanddeepentheirgrammatical understanding，and also provide reference for Chinese-Uyghur translators.
