Abstract： General SecretaryXi Jinping pointedoutatthesymposiumoncultural heritageanddevelopment that itis ncessaryto strengthenteprotectioanduilizatioofuralrelicssellastprotetionndihritancofuralhritage，tosete properprotectionof thecontextofChineseculture.TheGreatWall，hichgathersthehardworkandwisdomoftheancestorsofthe ChinesenationthoughouthistorycontainstheprofoundandextensiveheritageofChinesecivlation.ItisasymbolofthCine nationandanimportantsymbolofChinesecivilization.Itsculturalfohasundergoneanevolutionfromancientmilitarydefense worksto modernnational spiritualsymbols，andthen tomodem nationalsymbolsandculturaltreasures.TheCPChasplayedanimportantroleinpromoting theinheritanceanddevelopmentof theculturalvalueoftheGreatWallBytaking measuressuchas strengtheningteprotectionofteGreat Wall，appingitsculturalootationdpromotingtedvelopmentofteGratWallulturalindustry，theGreatWallculturehasshownnewvitalityintheneera.Byanalyzingliteratureandsystematicallsortingouthe evolutionofGreatWallculturebasedonhistoricallogic，thisstudyrevealsitssocialfunctionsandculturalsignificanceindient historicalperiods，providingteoreticalsupportandpracticalgudanceforteinheritanceandinnovationofGeatWallcultuenthe new era.
