Abstract:Basedon629validsurveyresponsesfrom XinjiangAgriculturalUniversity,thisstudyemploysstructuralequation modeling(SEM)toanalyzetheimpactofself-competene,instructorexpertise,andinstutionalmechanismsonthecultivatioof undergraduateresearchcompetencies.Theresultsindicatethatthestandardizedpathcoefcientsforself-competence,nstructor expertise,andinstutionalmechanismsareO.927,O.210,andO.191,respectivelyallexertingasignificantposiveifluence. Furthermre,self-competencewasfoundtopositivelycontributetostudents’knowledgeacqusition.Accordingly,recomendations areproposedattheinstitutionalfacultyandstudentlevelstoenhancethedevelopmentofundergraduateresearchcapabilities.
