Abstract：Basedon629validsurveyresponsesfrom XinjiangAgriculturalUniversity，thisstudyemploysstructuralequation modeling（SEM）toanalyzetheimpactofself-competene，instructorexpertise，andinstutionalmechanismsonthecultivatioof undergraduateresearchcompetencies.Theresultsindicatethatthestandardizedpathcoefcientsforself-competence，nstructor expertise，andinstutionalmechanismsareO.927，O.210，andO.191，respectivelyallexertingasignificantposiveifluence. Furthermre，self-competencewasfoundtopositivelycontributetostudents’knowledgeacqusition.Accordingly，recomendations areproposedattheinstitutionalfacultyandstudentlevelstoenhancethedevelopmentofundergraduateresearchcapabilities.
