Abstract：Underthetideofmodernization，youngpeoplearedrftingfurtherawayfromagriculturalproduction.Agricultureis thefoundationofthecountry；tsstabityleadstothecountrysprosperity.Itisanessentialquestionforeducationtomake collegestudentsunderstand，loveandthinkaboutagriculture，andusewhattheyhavelearnedtogivebacktoagriculture.Taking theIdentfcationofMajorCropsagriculturaltrainingcourseatSouth ChinaAgriculturalUniversityasanexample，thisarticle deeplysummarizesthepracticalexperienceofthecourseintermsofitsbackground，contentdesign，teachingmethods，and teachingefectiveness，andputforwardrelevantsuggestionssuchasimprovingtheenvironmentofagriculturaltrainingsites; findingcommonalitiesandcomplementaritybetweendisciplines，improvingandexpandingteachingcontent；organicallycombining theoreticalteaching，practicalactivities，andafterscholinternships；andoferingelectivecoursesoncropidentificationand generaleducationinruralareas，withtheaimofprovidingreferencesandinspirationsforotherhighereducationinstitutions.
