Abstract：Plantgeneticsservesasthecoreandcornerstoneofmodemagriculturalscience，shoulderingthecrucial responsibilityofcultivatingtop-tierinnovativetalentsforChina’sfoodsecurityandtherevitalzationoftheseedindustry. However，traditionalteachingmodelsareconfrontedwithseverechalengesandstrugle tomeetheurgentdemandofthenew erafornew-typetalentswhounderstandandcareaboutagriculture.Toaddressthethreemajorteachingissues，namely"students majoringinagriculturebutnotcaringaboutit，notunderstandingit，andnotbeingproficientinpracticalagriculturalskis"，the teamhasadheredtothefundamentaltaskof"fosteringvirtuethrougheducation".Aftereightyearsofdedicatedreformand iterativepractice，theyhavesystematicallybuiltanewcuiculum-basedtalentcultivationmodel.Thismodeltakes"value guidance"asitscorefoundation，"student-centered（OBE，Outcome-BasedEducation）”asitsbasicconcept，"teaching reconstruction"asitskeystrategy，"guidance-leaingcompetitionresearch-inovation”asitsimplementationpath，and"five integrations"asitscoremeasures.Thisintiativehasachievedfull-chainandsystematicinnovationcoveringconcepts，systems， paths，admethods，providingareplicableandpromotableexampleforthereformof higheragriculturaleducationinthenewera. Theachievementhasrealizedtheinnovationoftheintegratedtalentculivationpathof"gudance-learning-competition-esearchinovation"andtheinnovationofthehybridteachingparadigmof"fiveintegrations"，yieldingexcellenttalentcultivationsults. IthasbeenreportedbymajormediaoutletssuchastheNewHunanClient，andpossessshighacademicstandardsaswellas significant promotion and application value.
