Abstract:Inviewof the high sizerequirementofPanax Notoginseng sed inmechanized precision sowing,anewtypeof segmental-typevibratingscreen suitable for Panax Notoginseng sed grading was designed.Through theanalysis of the movementof seedson thevibrating screen surface,thestructure of the vibrating scree is determined to configure the segmented vibrating screen structure in series.By using discrete element method andEDEMsoftware,the motionof seeds onthe sieve plate and the position ofseeds falling fromthe upper sieve plate tothe lower sieve plate were simulated and analyzed,todetermine thelengthof thesieve plate and thehorizontal distancebetweenthetwolayersof sieve plates. Taking theinclinationangleof the sieveplate,vibration frequencyand vibrationamplitudeas the test factorsand the clasificationaccuracyrateasthetestindex,theBox—Behnkentest wasdesigned.Thevarianceanalysisofthetestresults was conducted byusingthe Design—Export software,and theregresion model betweentheevaluation indexand the test factorswasestablished.Inorder toimprovetheclassificationacuracy,theinclinationangle,vibrationfrequencyand vibrationamplitudeof thescree surfacewere optimizedand solved.Finally,theoptimal parametercombination was obtained as follows:the inclination angle of the screen surface was 5∘ ,the vibration frequency was 23.48Hz ,thevibration amplitude was 2.51mm ,and the classification accuracy rate was 93.6% . The verification test of the optimized parameter combination obtained by the manufacturing prototype shows that the classification accuracy rate is 91.8% ,and the relative error is 1.8% . The relative error between the clasification accuracy rate of Notoginseng seed and the prediction result is relatively smalland within the allowableerror range,which are proved to have acertain degree of reliability.
