Abstract:Toensuretheefectivenessandaccuracyofdatatransmitedbywirelessensorswithinasmartrubberplantation, thisstudyinvestigatedtheinfluenceofvariousrubberplantationenvironmentsontheatenuationcharacteristicsof LoRa wireless signals transmisioninside theforest.Basedonthe theoryof wirelesssignalattenuation,thesignalattnuation characteristics and laws ofLoRa wireless signals transmissionat 470MHz frequency band in three distinct rubberplantation environmentsat diferentangles,heightsand horizontal orientations were studied.Thelogarithmic distance atenuation modelwasused toconduct regresion analysis on the wirelessignal strengthvalues in the rubberplantation environment. Theatenuationcharacteristicparametersofthewirelesssignal transmisionpath werecalculatedbytheleast square method,and thetheoretical value calculationformula ofthe parameters was established through numerical fiting.The researchresultsrevealed thatthetransmisioncharacteristicsofLoRa wirelesssignals inrubberplantations followed the logarithmicpath atenuation patern.Variousenvironmental factorsand the deployment parametersof transmitterand receiver nodes significantly influencedtheatenuationofwirelessignaltransmision.Aregressionanalysisof thesigaltest dataledtotheestablishmentofwirelessignalatenuationmodelsfordiferentdeploymentonanglesandheightsacrossthree typical rubberplantations,withcorrelationcoefcients ranging fromO.85toO.96.Therelative errorbetween measuredand theoretical predicted values ranged from -7.69% to 9.23% ,confirming that the model construction was reasonable and the fiting method wasfeasible.Thefactors impacting signal strength from highto low,indescending order,are ground ridges, vegetation canopies,surface vegetation,and the trunks and lateral branches of rubber trees.
