Abstract:Inviewoftheproblemsofhigh intensityandloweficiencyofartificialdefoliationoffreshmugwort,as wellas theshortcomingsofthedevelopmentofagricultural machineryforharvesting mugwort inhilland mountainous areas,the physicalcharacteristicsof mugwort planting plantsandthemechanismcharacteristicsof fresh mugwort defoliationwere comprehensivelystudied,andadefoliationdeviceforharvesting freshmugwortleaves wasdesignedbyrotating theelastic tooth drum.The defoliation process and working principle wereanalyzed,the defoliation process of the drum was analyzedby kinematicequations,thefactorsaffecting thedefoliationqualityweredetermined,themechanicalanalysisand structuraldesignof thekeycomponentsof the drum werecompleted,thetest benchwas builtand the bench test was completed.The significance of each influencing factor was analyzed through the preliminary bench testand thevalue range of thekey factorswas determined,the forwardspeed,drumspeedandground clearanceheight were takenas the influencing factors,thecorresponding indexes weredefoliationrate,impurityrateand integrityrate,the factorcode was determinedandthe experimental mathematical model wasestablished,the combinationtest of quadraticregression orthogoalrotationcenterwiththreefactorsandfivelevelswascompleted,andthesignificanceanalysisandoptimization of the test results were caried out.The optimized mathematical model shows that when the ground clearance is 150mm the forward speed is 3.24km/h ,and the drum speed is 335r/min ,and the corresponding leaf defoliation rate is 92.7% the impurity content is 14.5% ,and the leaf integrityis 77.1% . The results showed that the shedding rate of mugwort leaveswas 90.8% ,the impurity content was 16.2% ,and the leaf integrity was 74.7% ,and therelative error between the two values was not higher than 11% ,and there was no significant difference between the two values by ANOVA( P> 0.05),indicating that the results were reliable.
