Study on Optimization of Low-Carbon City Development Path in Nanning City Based on Best - Cities Model

Abstract：Against thebackdropofactivelyaddressngclimatechangeand promoting low-carbon economicdevelopment globally，thelow-carbontransformationofcitieshasbecomeakeyissue.UsingtheBest-Cities model，thecurrentcarbon emissions situation，policy implementation botlenecks，and low-carbon transformationpotentialof Nanning ityare analyzed，inordertobetterselecturbanlow-carbondevelopmentpolicies.ThedatashowsthatinO23，thetotal greenouse gas emissions in Nanning city amounted to 50.4432 million t CO 2e .The research results identifies the key areas and main challngesoflow-carbondevelopmentinNanningcity，andsreensoutsuitablelow-carbondevelopmentpolicies tobuilda low-carbon city and promote sustainable development.
